The capital’s outdoor musical celebration is back with two nights of eclectic live performances in the relaxed evening setting of Umm Al Emarat Park, including main stage appearances as well as interactive workshops and community events, as well as film screenings showcasing India’s rich culture: Jai Ho, A Brush with Life, and The Spirit of India.
On Friday, two pioneering Arab musicians will take to the stage. Multimedia artist Zahed Sultan presents his latest work ‘Hiwar’, an audio-visual reinterpretation of traditional Pearl Diving songs with contemporary arrangements for percussion, piano and cello – brought to life with interpretive dance and a vivid light show. Next up, Egypt’s marimba queen Nesma Abdel Aziz brings her spirited fusion of contemporary and classical music to the park with her group – reinvigorating
