AFTERSHOCK
BY UN-HABITAT, THE UNITED NATIONS PROGRAMME FOR HUMAN SETTLEMENTS

A boundary-breaking exhibition at the United Nations will invite the art world to reimagine the relationship between humans and cities, harnessing the power of art to inspire people to be activists for cities, to express our shared humanity in the aftermath of the pandemic, and to forge more healthy, inclusive and sustainable cities where humanity and nature thrive. Renowned artists from the Global North will unite with emerging artists from the Global South, with Abu Dhabi Festival supporting the work of Emirati artist Ebtisam Abdulaziz to be included in the exhibition. Organised by United Nations curator Itai Madamombe, the exhibition will feature 100 works from as many countries around the world.
