STEAM: (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Exhibition and Talks

Abu Dhabi Festival’s STEAM partnered with MIT to bring university students of a variety of disciplines, including visual art, design, architecture and computer science together in teams for a specialized course in 3-D printing technology. These young designers will participate in a talk and exhibit their works at the Portrait of a Nation II: Beyond Narratives exhibition, alongside some of the nation’s most well-known artists. The STEAM program incorporates the arts into teaching other disciplines in an integrated approach to learning that encourages students to think both critically and creatively.
