Recitals of Young Piano Talents
A collaboration between Beethoven Easter Festival and Abu Dhabi Festival to mark the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth and the 210th anniversary of Chopin’s birth
The Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, established in 1997, has become the largest classical music festival and one of the most significant cultural events in Poland. A carefully selected programme is interpreted by the best internationally renowned artists. Symphony and chamber concerts, oratorios, operas and numerous accompanying events, such as the International Musicological Symposium, the Exhibition of Manuscripts and masterclasses for young artists, make the festival one of a kind.
The Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw gives a platform to young artists to present themselves and perform in front of a big audience including international guests and journalists. This is a rare opportunity, especially for those who prepare themselves to take part in one of the most important competition in the world, the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition, in Warsaw in 2020.
Performances will take place at Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, Radom Philharmonic, Sopot Philharmonic andJelenia Góra Philharmonic, while the three solo piansists will be Aleksandra Świgut, Krzysztof Książek and Adam Goździewski, who will play selected works by Beethoven and Chopin.
